This includes raising donations from members and the public and holding annual events such as free Easter egg hunts and games, back to school supply drives and Christmas toy drives. Downshift Ridaz Inc does not pay any members or organizational board members any monetary or itemized payments. All money raised through the organization by it's membership goes directly towards the purchase of items to donate to families in need at our annual events as well as supporting children suffering from serious illnesses and bullying throughout the year. Our yearly Easter event hosts hundreds of families and children with the event growing every year. 2023 saw an Easter egg hunt with over 15,000 eggs for children as well as food, games and activities. Moving forward we look forward to continuing to grow this event even larger. 2023's Easter event occured before our nonprofit status was applied for and not included in the grants and expenses however this event typically raises and costs roughly $1500-2000. 0 0 Our yearly back to school supply drive is another large event where Downshift Ridaz Inc raises donations from members and the public with the goal of both sponsoring specific families and the general public in need. This year we were able to sponsor two specific families and fill over 80 backpacks complete with school supplies and directly handed out these items ourself to the children who needed them. Moving forward we look to increase the amount of donations raised so we can sponsor more families and fill even more backpacks. 1568 1221 Downshift Ridaz Inc also hosts an annual Christmas Toy drive where we raise donations both in money and toys from member and the general public. These items are then donated directly to families and children in need. In the past years we have donated trailers filled with toys to our local Women & Children's shelter but in 2023 we handed these toys out directly to families and children. This year we were able to completely fill a 12x7 enclosed trailer with toys, bicycles and electronics ranging in ages from infants to teenagers.
