With the help of 721 volunteers, ITA organized 74 projects in diverse geographic locations, from incredibly remote places to trails just outside Boise and Sandpoint, ranging from one-day projects to weeklong trips. The projects completed were all based on public lands throughout the state. After hikes to the project sites, ITA crews worked a total of 13,262 hours, cleared 293 miles of trail, removed 4,186 logs, cleaned 666 water bars, and brushed 89.2 miles of trail. The ITA started a new veterans program during the 2023 trail season and completed two trips with veterans.
