These activities help to foster an environment in which children can grow personally via leadership opportunities or simply through making friends. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The financial statements are presented to and approved by the Officer Management Team, the Board of Directors as well as Legal Counsel. Once approved, the Form 990 is filed utilizing approved financial statements. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c The entity provides annual training for its Board of Directors and Officers regarding business conduct and ethics, including the organizations conflict of interest policy. Upon the completion of the annual training Board Members and Officers are requested to certify their understanding of the organization's policies and to disclose any potential conflicts of interest. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Previously, there is only one paid Executive Director position receiving a compensation of less the than $1000 per month. This position has not been filled since the 2018 tax year. As such, there was no compensation paid to any Officers, Board members, and/or volunteers in the tax year ended September 30, 2023. Small stipends are paid to Officers and camp teachers at the end of the camp which are reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors prior to issuance (Amounts are in Part VII). Board members and other staff do not receive a stipend.
