OUR SA was created on December 18, 1957 by a City of San Antonio, Texas referendum, ordinance, and resolution, under the provisions of the Urban Renewal Law of the State of Texas. As a chartered political subdivision of the State of Texas. OUR SA is governed by a seven member board of commissioners appointed by the City Council. Part IV Section A Line 2 SAAH is governed by the same board as OUR. SAAH has no employees of its own and, as such contracts with OUR SA to provide it with the skills required to accomplish its mission. Pt IV Sec D Ln 3 OUR SA, through its Non-Profit SAAH, is responsible for all land bank activities involing the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of properties in targeted areas.
