Our flagship location, Art Lab Everett, welcomes all to explore artmaking as a consistent practice through our open hours and fee-scaled membership. We offer a variety of programs including workshops for adults and children as well as shared studio space for self-guided work. Think of Art Lab as just that: a lab. We encourage artists of all levels to learn, experiment and play. MISSION STATEMENT Arts for Everett, Inc. supports the growth and development of the arts in Everett by providing a physical space dedicated to the arts, creating arts events in public spaces and collaborating with organizations throughout Greater Boston to enrich the lives of Everett residents. The lab is a place of experimentation, emphasizing process over product while at the same time encouraging skill development and creativity. We completed two community festivals this year. The goal of the festivals was to nurture community, friendship, and understanding. The festivals were free and open to all. Ten local businesses provided food. There were approximately 400 individuals in total at the festivals. 0 3575 A.L.E. On The Road is a traveling program for local schools, the City of Everett and various organizations. It brings workshops and arts programming to various locations and to events throughout Everett and surrounding towns. Through this program we served close to 2,000 individuals. 0 3036 Our onsite programming includes workshops for adults, children and families as well as drop-in hours for self-directed work. We are open for onsite programming three days a week. We open by request at other times. The scheduled classes meet 2 to 3 days per week with 10 or more individuals regularly participating. 0 536 In connection with our monthly open house the Garage Door Gallery at Art Lab Everett offers exhibitions to emerging artists, celebrates the work of EPS students & exhibits work representative of Everett's communities. We mentor young artists. To ensure that public charities submitting annual filings in the Commonwealth are not faced with conflicting deadlines, the Non-Profit Organizations/Public Charities Division is issuing a similar temporary extension-any annual filings due to be filed with the AGO between September 15, 2023 and February 15, 2024 (including those already on extension to a date on or after September 15, 2023) will be considered timely filed with the AGO if they are filed on or before February 15, 2024.
