The Center also holds security deposits for tenants of the assisted living. These funds are included in assets held in trust and resident trust funds and security deposits and payable in the financial statements. Resident trust funds totaled $4,070 as of December 31, 2023. Security deposits totaled $49,139 at December 31, 2023. Part X, Line 2: The Center believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken affecting its annual filing requirements, and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements. The Center would recognize future accrued interest and penalties related to unrecognized tax benefits and liabilities in income tax expense if such interest and penalties are incurred. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 3 The Center has entered into a management agreement with Sanford which includes certain administrative support services and the administrator. The Center paid $346,632 for these services in the year ending December 31, 2023. If a potential conflict arises with management or a board member the person with the potential conflict shall not be present, vote or take any action when their disclosure is under consideration by the ECC or Board of Trustees.
