A Free Family Concert: ORCMA s symphony orchestra produced a Free Family Concert at the Childrens Museum in Oak Ridge and encouraged all the community to attend. The concert was preceded with a scavenger hunt. The expenses for this event were $12,132 and the revenue was $1,944. 2. The Adolf King Summer String Camp: This is for string students in about 4th to 7th grade. It was 1 week in June, held at a local elementary school during the morning with students and teachers meeting each morning and then on Friday morning parents and friends were invited to attend a short program featuring the students. The expenses were $6,035 and the revenue was $3,010. Part VI, Line 11b: The completed 990 and schedules will be sent to the board via email for their comments before it is sent to the CPA firm. Line 12a: We have a written conflict of interest policy which each board member fills out each year and this is kept on file in the office. This is discussed in the board meeting when they are asked to fill them out and return to the office. Line 15a&b: The organization has a personnel committee which meets in the Spring and any other times when it is needed to evaluate the employees and discuss their employment for the coming year. Their recommendations are then presented to the full board for approval. Line 19: The By-laws, conflict of interest forms, Form 990 and the financial statements are available in the office and produced upon request. The form 990 is also available at the Tennessee Department of Charitable Solicitation and Gaming, and that is available to the public.
