In later years as the hospital "business" changed our revenue came largely from uniform sales (scrubs) to hospital employees. With the closure of the Hospital, that revenue stream was lost. For more than 25 years we have provided scholarship monies to students in health and Nursing fields to schools in Maricopa County (contiguous) Arizona. The majority of our awardees are members of minorities. As a follow up to The Covid Era, we have found it very challenging to set up and maintain relations with High Schools and even Colleges. We will continue to work to improve this so more students can receive health related degrees. All of our members are volunteers who take no salary. We believe we qualify for the 10% test.
