Putnam St. John's encourages our younger members to be civic minded and engage in our legislative policy implementation activities. Through these activities we developed relationships with our elected officials and set the tone to carry our priority issues that impact agriculture. Putnam St. John's County Farm Bureau supports our local 4-H and FFA students throughout the year. We provide scholarships to High School seniors who pursue an agriculture related degree and assist students showing and selling their projects at the fair. Putnam St. John's sponsored an AgVenture program during the springtime Farm Festival. Students learned about beef, goats, dairy, nutrition, forestry, potatoes,and other topics. Part 6, Line 6 Putnam-St Johns County Farm Bureau is a membership based organization. Part 6, Line 7a At our annual meeting, our members elect our board members. Part 6, Line 7b The membership may validate, negate or modify the nomination committees selection. Part 6, Line 11b The Form 990 is kept in the front office for open review. Part 6, Line 12c Enforces compliance by having all board members fill out a questionaire. Part 6, Line 19 We make all required forms available to the public upon request.
