Line 28) Baker County Farm Bureau supported the youth livestock program at the Baker County Fair by assisting with add-ons for all animals. The fair gives students the opportunity to learn showmanship skills, animal husbandry, and marketing skills. Line 29) During the Swine in the Pines show we educated youth and adults on the importance of properly showing and handling swine. We demonstrated the proper showmanship techniques and hygiene for the animals. Line 30) Baker County Farm Bureau fosters agricultural education of our county's youth in various ways. High School Seniors are provided the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to assist with higher education in an agriculture related major.
