Proceeds of the event have benefitted the local community by providing fundraising opportunities for the NCCFFA, local youth organizations, Newberry Jaycees and the Newberry Rescue Squad. These funds have been used in the local community to fund projects and activities such as the Newberry Jaycees Kids Shopping Spree for needy children at Christmas, funds in support of the SC Jaycees Camp Hope (a camp for mentally challenged children and adults supported by the state Jaycee organization), support of the Newberry Rescue Squad ensuring services are available to all areas of the county. In addition, a $500 scholarship has been provided to 6 graduating high school seniors from Newberry County schools to continue their education.
