There were casino type games, dancing, Minute-to-Win-It and several sports available, and seniors were awarded "Bulldog" cash from the games that they were able to exchange for tickets toward prize raffles throughout the night. The prizes were donated by local merchants. Seniors staying until the morning were awarded a cash prize of approximately $200 each as an incentive to stay at the event and stay safe.</Desc>

<ExplanationTxt>Greater Artesia Foundation acted as Fiscal Sponsor for City of Champions, Inc. while they worked toward incorporating and applying for their 501(c)(3). After they received their IRS determination letter and provided a copy to Greater Artesia Foundation, contributions taken in on behalf of City of Champions, Inc. were donated to them. Greater Artesia Foundation has provided detail on the use of all funds within City of Champions, Inc. The various volunteers with the projects fiscally sponsored by Greater Artesia Foundation closely monitor how the grants are utilized. Scholarship recipients are required to provide their transcripts and upcoming college semester schedules before funds are released to their college of choice. Written criteria listing the selection process, members of the selection committees, are on file for each of the scholarship programs. The high school staff provides a list of the students that graduated to the volunteers participating in the Senior Salute event. Students show their ID and initial their name on the list as they receive their prize.</ExplanationTxt>
