Study of Park Restoration - helped fund and participated in a study by ForeSite Associates in conjunction with primary funding by New Castle Conservation District (part of DNREC) ($2720) 2. Began invasive removal to protect trees, restore the natural landscape and open the area to promote accessibility and usability, with an initial focus on cutting Chinese Wisteria from existing canopy trees, saplings, and native shrubs, after which we plan to maintain the area through ongoing treatments and manage other invasive plants within and around those zones. This work is ongoing and is being conducted under contracts from the Friends with RedTail Restorations ($12,441) 0 0 0 Coordinated and led volunteer cleanup to remove trash from the Park, as a cleanup site in the annual Christina River Watershed Cleanup 0 0 0 Working to establish a family-friendly primitive trail network, with easy and safe access from surrounding neighborhoods, and informative signage to support neighboring community use and enjoyment of the Preserve. After agreement on the final version, confirmed by email vote, the form was filed with the IRS on March 23, 2024. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 All such information is available to the public upon request. No such requests have been received to-date. We filed our 990 on March 23, 2024, mailing the paper filing to the IRS Ogden UT address which I found on the IRS website. The IRS mailed the paper filing back to us with a rejection cover letter - received here May 22, mailed by IRS May 20, letter number LTR2694C dated May 16, with the filing red-stamped Received April 16 and with a big X through the received stamp on the first page of the 990. The IRS rejection letter said that only e-filing was allowed. No other issues were identified in the rejection letter. We had filed in good faith, very timely, and thus request that this filing be accepted as timely and OK.
