The committee was created to organize educational conferences for first responders. The committee delegated the NAC as custodian of any funds raised through registrations or donations to be spent only on TEAM Conference expenses. These funds must be held in an account specifically designated for the TEAM Conference and the Northwest Autism Center has no authority over the use of these funds. The funds are currently being held in a financial holding company based in the United States in the commercial banking industry and specifically designated as the T.E.A.M. The compensation committee uses formal self and board evaluation worksheets, published compensation information, including Forms 990 information of similar organizations, compensation surveys and studies, and cost of living and wage increases to evaluate the Executive Director compensation. The compensation committee then makes a recommendation to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors evaluates the compensation recommendation and sets the Executive Directors compensation. The materials utilized in determining the Executive Director's compensation and the relevant deliberations of the process are memorialized, as is the approval of the Executive Director's compensation by the Board of Directors. All questions, concerns and issues raised by those individuals were addressed and all necessary revisions were made to the Form 990. The Form 990 was executed by the Executive Director and filed by the Treasurer. A complete and final version of the Form 990 and its supporting schedules was provided to and ratified by the Board of Directors, prior to filing. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c A copy of the organization's Conflict of Interest Policy has been distributed to each Director and this policy is reviewed at least annually. The Board of Directors will document such information and investigate.
