The ARPA Grant was a major accomplishment. Our team vetted over 200 business applications and were able to issue 133 businesses funding. Five additional technical service providers received COVID relief via the Technical Service Provider grant completed in May of 2022. Area Sector Analysis Process (ASAP) was initiated in 2022 with a 20-person steering committee in order to identify where our community needs resources. Outreach and Partner Development has been a key goal in 2022. We are keen to continue to build relationships with our public partners, board of directors, capital resources, regional partner organizations, small business technical providers, main industries in our community, workforce cooperation and capacity building to this effort we have over 48 different partners involved in our network. An external provider, Kinship HR, performs an external salary review of all positions before approving pay increases. The ED worked with the finance committee on wage increase projections, and a decision would be made based on the external salary review, a reasonable wage rate/role to better ensure retention and our ability to sustain the increase.
