Monitoring is ongoing throughout the year or duration of each project grant. Other Part III, Line 4a - The Library Foundation serves the community by leveraging what its publicly-funded library can provide. Tax monies fund library buildings and maintenance, library staff salaries, core programs,and a core collection of materials. The Library Foundation, through private contributions, enriches programs, services, and resources, as well as public-access technology and collections and facilities enhancements for its main (Jackson, WY) and branch (Alta, WY) library. Foundation-funded programs include - but are not limited to - Tax Prep Assistance, Born-to-Read, Latino Outreach, Page to Podium Author Visits, Afterschool Programs, and Summer Reading. In addition, the Library Foundation provides up-to-date audio-visual systems for the library's auditorium spaces. All items purchased by the Foundation are immediately donated to the Library. The Foundation also funds a Housing Assistance Program for library staff to help address the significant cost of rental and ownership housing in Teton County. Foundation operating/program costs, including Foundation staff salaries are fully paid through funds raised by the Foundation. Pt VI, Line 11b Organization's Process to Review Form 990 - Form 990 is reviewed in detail by the Board President, Finance & Investment Committee, and Executive Director. The full Board receives a copy of the return prior to filing with the IRS. Pt VI, Line 12c Enforcement of Conflicts of Interest Policy - An annual review is conducted to identify potential conflicts. Pt VI, Line 15a Compensation Process for Top Official - The Executive Director's performance is reviewed by the Executive Committee of the Board, which makes a salary recommendation to the full Board in executive session, using comparable employment data. The Executive Director's compensation is then approved by all Board members. Pt VI, Line 19 Governing Documents Disclosure Explanation - The governing documents are made available upon request at the office of the Foundation.
