We graduated 28 8th greaders and built up a waitpool of 5+ students per grade. We are most proud of the continued success working with all of our students. Our partnership with the UNCA Steam Program allows our 8th grade students hands on experience designing and building items for our campus. Students learn how to measure, cut wood with various types of saws, hammers, nails, and use drills. Students in Spring 2023 built 28 folding charis and in Fall of 2024 built a trash depot for the school's trash cans. In addition to our rigorous academic program, our students participate in extensive experiential learning activities as well. We begin each school year with a three day, two night sleepover termed, KICK OFF. As we move further into the school year, 6th greaders attend a week-long program at the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Our 7th grade adventures for week to Folly Beach and Charleston, SC.
