Services include the rescue and repatriation of people who have been trafficked and enslaved; assisting people in obtaining legal registration papers; training police border guards and officials to combat human trafficking; and advocating for the reform of laws and policies to better protect all children. In 2021 the Legal department coordinated the rescue and safe repatriation of 225 victims of human trafficking Our lawyers represented 28 victims of trafficking in court cases resulting in the conviction of 46 traffickers. We provided individual legal advice and information for over 90 children survivors and families.
