We co-hosted various leadership training opportunities. Participants visited local cattle and citrus operations as well as learn about the issues impacting these industries. Line 29) Osceola County Farm Bureau keeps members informed about legislative issues that could impact agriculture on the county and state level. Members attended Farm Bureau Days, where they had the opportunity to speak with elected officials on how decision they make impact the industry. Line 30) We support youth at the fair. Students involved in the 4-H and FFA programs who show animals at the fair receive hands-on learning about the realities of food production. They also learn how to communicate and responsiblity.
