No one on our Board has any connection to entities that would do business with us, but we do have policies in place were that to be the case. Part VI, Line 15a The Board annually does a review of comparable local non-profits and their compensation levels and then votes collectively to set the Executive Director's salary. The Executive Director recommends the hiring and compensation of a number of hourly interns each year and both the hiring and compensation is voted upon by the Board for approval. Part VI, Line 15b As noted above. The Executive Director does not set his own salary, but this is determined by the Board. And, the Director proposes a number of hourly hires, and suggested compensation annually, but these, too are voted on and approved by the Board.
