Throughout our programs, participants learn how to practice healthy and balanced lifestyles with their families, develop the necessary skills for personal and economic growth, participate in income-generating activities, and get basic education and support to jump-start their entrepreneurial endeavors. The classes are: English, personal finances, computer and mobile skills, entrepreneurship and job seeking preparation, nutrition, practical recipes, & chronic disease prevention, self-esteem, resilience & leadership and artistic expression. Community Workshops: Customizable onsite workshops covering integral wellness and skills for growth topics, taught at schools, community centers, and/or in partnership with other organizations. Online Talks: Series of 1-hour-long online talks, live and on demand, open to the community. The talks are based on our four key aspects of wellness: emotional, physical, occupational, and financial. She was relocated to Houston, Texas, in 2007, and since then She has advocated herself to volunteer in her community in Katy, Texas where she lives with her husband and two children. Since 2013, Patricia has been an integral part of the non-profit Wellness for Growth Foundation, she has held several positions within the organization and since last year, serving as its Education Director. Her fervor lies in empowering Hispanic mothers through education.
