In addition, ECU posts its financial statements in its lobbies and holds an annual meeting, which is open to the public. Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 ON 1/1/2023, ECU adopted ASU 2016-13 Financial instruments credit losses (topic 326) as amended (ASC 326) which replaces the incurred loss methodology with the expected loss methodology or CECL. ECU recorded a net decrease to undivided earnings for $163,683 representing the cumulative effect of adopting this standard.
