Grants are also given to middle school student projects, and small international projects in conjunction with other Rotary Clubs. Grants are also provided to students traveling to our community from other countries through the Rotary Exchange program, for high school students to attend a leadership conference each year, and to assist in administrative costs for a reading program (Dolly Parton's Imagination Library). The only exception to this bylaw are funds raised to fund the Dolly Parton Imagination Library project. Funds are raised each year through our organization to support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library project. This support provides books to children in our community from the age of newborn through their 5th birthday. We have raised enough funds throughout the year through private donation and small grants to have funds available each year that are rolled over each year. Our organization also raises funds for a memorial scholarship. The amount showing in the fund balance represents the amount available in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library fund, the memorial scholarship fund, and fundraising completed at the end of the year that will be available the following year for distribution.
