Once reviewed for merit and overall benefit to the profession, the selected submission are discussed with the Board and voted on. If approved, money is distributed to the Internal Audit Foundation for use in supporting the research projects. On an annual basis, scholarships are provided students based on review of application submissions. Scholarship recipients are selected based on the merit of the submitted application after review by the Academic Relations Committee of the Board. Funds are provided directly to the university. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a A subcommittee of our Board of Governors reviews nominations for officers and makes final appointments. The remainder of the Board of Governors (BOG) works together to appoint new members of this governing body. All decisions are discussed at the Board level; therefore, separate minutes are not maintained for committees.
