Several years ago the market started the Nutrition Bucks program. Using grant funds, the market offered vouchers administered by the local food bank to individuals and families in the need of food assistance. Every year, a portion of the grant funds are dispensed directly to Mount Airy Area Net, our local food bank, to provide some assistance in their on-going program of support to needed individuals and families.
