This includes case management and home visits, providing parent education and child development assessments, providing food, diapers, and other assistance to support the children and their parents. In 2023, we served approximately 30 families in our case management program along with another 371 individuals receiving support services. The First 5 program is funded by the Commission on Children and Families of Kern County to support the healthy development of children during the critical early years. 80331 0 0 Our Southwest Healthcare District Client Services Program serves all other residents of our community that do not have children ages 0-5, including families with teens, veterans, single adults, and seniors. Some of the services provided include referrals to county services, utility and rental assistance, an emergency food pantry, and providing hygiene/PPE items. In 2022, we served approximately 1121 individuals through this program. Services include rental assistance, utility assistance, and market gift vouchers for food. In 2023, we served approximately 571 individuals through this program.
