($3,500) This organization is a very small NPO that is operated by volunteers like myself. I am the only administrator/financial officer for this NPO with no one to back me up. On December 3, 2021, both my wife and I tested positive for COVID-19. My wife was immediately hospitalized in ICU. She remained in the hospital for 92 days, until she was sent to a skilled nursing and rehab facility. She remained in that facility for the next 580 days fighting to get well enough to go home. I was dealing with her illness at her side every day. On September 7, 2023, my bride of 36 1/2 years was placed in hospice care, and on October 6, 2023 she passed away from post-COVID complications.
