Our Mission is to educate and equip Rockdale and Newton County's Latinos with resources, skills and support to enable them to thrive. Civic Engagement: Immigration Support. We were able to offset the fees associated with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) such as Family Petitions, DACA new applications and Renewals and Work Permit renewals for seven youths and adults with low to no income in the community we serve. As we continue to advocate for a path to citizenship for many immigrants, this funds helped offset some of the fees that are applicable. 10000 10095 Basic Needs Program: An effort to help people within the community we serve with economic emergencies resources. Funding was used to support the initial planning of current year go to vote campaign, generating marketing materials, operations support, design and printing, stipends to 19 volunteers. 0 7147 Community Event - Annual Conyers Latin Festival: In celebration of the National Hispanic Heritage Month this is an annual fundraising event, funds will help in offsetting some of the costs as well as allow us to continue to facilitate programs aiming to foster a cultural educational environment thereby strengthening communities. This is a family friendly event, and we strives to promote Hispanic Heritage by cultivating cultural, educational, civic, social, and mental health wellness; as well as, to aid community members that may be undeserved. We provided supplies to 295 families 0 248 COVID-19 vaccine availability and prevention information to communities by ways of social media, literature drops, food distribution events, community events.
