BRAVE BOX SUPPORT PROGRAM. In 2023, we provided 443 newly diagnosed children, and their families with Type 1 diabetes at 5 mid western children's hospitals and beyond with free care packages. We partner with diabetes medical teams to bring comfort and support items, supplies, educational tools, practical needs and resources designed to educate and empower, let families know they are not alone and prepare them for their forever fight battling Type 1. Since we began, over 5,375 boxes have been delivered. Brave Boxes are FREE to kids/families and have tools valued at approximately $250 ea; Over a million dollars in products/tools in total to date. We are most proud of the emotional support the Brave Boxes contain. Physical health and emotional health work together and supporting one, supports the other. 66719 66719 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. In 2023, we provided 5 college bound students with Type 1 diabetes scholarship dollars to help with the cost of education. The high cost of quality healthcare, insulin and medical needs leave little saving for college and further education expense. 7000 7000 In 2023, we were able to restart and develop (since Covid) Outreach, Education Classes, a Pen Pal Club.
