Each board member is asked to confirm receipt and may comment, ask questions, or propose revisions. The Board votes then votes to approve or disapprove filing in accordance with GET's bylaws. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 All documents are available to the public for viewing at the theatre offices, including the governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements. Form 990, Part IX, Line 24e Other expenses not categorized above Due to the pandemic we were forced to shut down on March 13, 2020. We operated out of the Roswell Cultural Arts Center a city building that also closed. Not only were we unable to produce theatre, we were also locked out of our offices for over 18 months. During this time our staff went from 13 to 7 and then to the current 5 full time staff members trying to keep our doors open. When we shuttered, our Business Manager left our employ without notice and it was very challenging trying to know what he did on a day to day basis and keep up with the long term tasks. As soon as we realized that we hadn't filed, we rectified that oversight. To date, we still have not found a new Business Manager and cannot do so until we know we will be able to pay that person. Currently we have postponed operations and I do not exaggerate when I say if we do not get these penalties abated we will very likely go out of business. Every year we hire an accountant to file our 990, this year we were unable to do so because of lack of funds. We have begun rebuilding our Board of Trustees and they are committed to making sure this does not happen again.
