Our fitness center offers a full gymnasium featuring cardio, free weights, and weight machines, Pilates, yoga cardio mix, women & weight classes, nutrition, private personal training with any of our certified trainers, and our prescription for exercise program. Physicians from regional medical practices refer patients who are obese, are at risk of obesity. or who have obesity related health issues to a six-month guided exercise program. Our membership is representative of 35 communities and ranges in ages from birth to 92 . The transaction is an arms-length transaction. Bids are sent to other insurance brokers, and the organization chooses the best deal. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 According the the Southern Vermont Health and Recreation Center Foundation bylaws, any person eighteen years of age or older who is a SVHRCF member who is serving as a trustee shall be a member of the corporation. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a Members are qualified to vote an any annual or special meeting of the corporation as long as they have been members for at least six consecutive months. Members elect trustees of the board by majority vote. The Executive Director is not present at the meeting when the board approves compensation. We mailed a paper copy of the return by the extended deadline, but the IRS returned it for electronic filing. The letter from the IRS dated August 31, 2022 gave us ten days to electronically file to avoid penalties.
