We offer two conferences each year with presentations, monthly newsletters, FREE quarterly webinars, and communication tools for resources. We are simply here to educate and network with other professionals that are in similar positions across the state of Nebraska and the purpose of our exemption is that we are not selling products or services to these individuals who wish to be a part of our organization. We hosted an educational conference in the fall of 2021. Attendees were able to listen to multiple speakers on a variety of different topics that related to marketing and current healthcare events. We originally mailed in our 990 form on May 14. 2022 and it was marked received on May 17, 2022. We were unaware at the time that tax-exempt organizations are required to file electronically and we were also experiencing turnover on our board at the time so proper communication did not take place before filing. This was not due to negligence. We were simply just not informed and we apologize for misunderstanding.
